OVERVIEW:
As a hands-on Engineering Leader, you will be responsible to manage and oversee the development process from a holistic point of view. You will be expected to work closely across teams and with senior leadership to build a predictable and enterprise-ready technology stack.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead from the front as a hands-on subject matter expert, architecting and crafting scalable solutions, and driving data excellence across the organization
- Design, implement and refine product development, testing, and launch processes.
- Manage staff and assign tasks to engineering and technical personnel.
- Lead teams in the development of new products, solutions, and processes.
- Work with Engineering Leads, Product Team, Engineering Support Team, the CTO and the Client’s Team to oversee the oversee overall development process.
- Provide collaborative leadership to build out the AI function, MLEs, MLOps and Data Engineering
- Define best AI/ML driven practices and AI lifecycle.
- Oversee model training and optimization.
- Coach and mentor our team as we build scalable data and machine learning solutions
- Inform and deliver on ambitious product roadmaps to accelerate growth.
- Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including investors and potential customers.
- Actively contribute in recruiting engineers, engineering managers, and other key positions.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related quantitative field. Masters in Technology or an MBA from reputed institute.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in managing the development of complex software engineering projects
- 4+ years of experience with Deep Learning, High Performance Computing, Computer vision, and/or Kubernetes based technology stacks.
- High level experience in AI/ML fundamentals
- Strong background in software architecture, software development lifecycle
- Up-to-date knowledge of AI/ML technologies and their trends, including various libraries and tools
- Built feature stores and auto ML capabilities
- End-to-end ML work and deployment of models
- Knowledge of how full stack SaaS products work, scale and perform;
- Experience with modern databases, cloud environments, and data ecosystems
- Experience defining and leading large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders
- Experience within a leadership role where you have proven success with building and maintaining teams
- Excellent technical, written and oral communication
