ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for Account Directors to drive strategic sales across one or more of our core business segments: Public Safety, Cities, Utilities, Transport Infrastructure, and Industrial Automation.
This is a high-ownership, revenue-focused role for someone who can work closely with the Segment Head to build pipeline, open strategic accounts, manage complex stakeholders, and close large enterprise / public sector opportunities. The role requires a strong hunter mindset, comfort with long-cycle sales, and the ability to sell technology-led solutions into complex B2B, B2G, B2B2B, or B2B2G environments.
The ideal candidate is commercially sharp, disciplined with pipeline, strong at stakeholder management, and capable of translating customer problem statements into business opportunities for Awiros.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Drive new business acquisition and revenue growth for the assigned segment under the guidance of the Segment Head
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline across enterprise, government, institutional, and ecosystem-led opportunities
  • Identify, engage, and develop strategic accounts across the assigned segment
  • Own the sales cycle from account identification, prospecting, discovery, stakeholder mapping, solution positioning, proposal support, negotiations, and closure
  • Build relationships with decision-makers, influencers, technical evaluators, consultants, system integrators, channel partners, and procurement stakeholders
  • Work closely with Presales, Product, Delivery, and Leadership teams to shape customer-specific solutions and move opportunities forward
  • Support large bids, RFPs, tenders, proposals, demos, POCs, and commercial discussions
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer priorities, operational challenges, buying processes, and segment-specific use cases
  • Maintain strong discipline across CRM hygiene, pipeline tracking, forecasting, follow-ups, and next-step ownership
  • Bring market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback into internal discussions to strengthen Awiros’ positioning
  • Represent Awiros in customer meetings, partner discussions, industry events, and segment-specific business development initiatives

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
  • 5–12 years of experience in Enterprise Sales, Strategic Account Sales, Business Development, Solution Sales, Public Sector Sales, or B2B technology sales
  • Experience selling software, SaaS, AI, analytics, video analytics, IoT, surveillance, infrastructure technology, platform products, or other technology-led solutions
  • Proven track record of building pipeline and driving new business opportunities
  • Experience selling to one or more of the following customer types: enterprise, government, PSU, smart city authorities, utilities, transport bodies, infrastructure companies, industrial organizations, or large institutional accounts
  • Strong understanding of long-cycle, multi-stakeholder sales processes
  • Ability to manage conversations with senior business leaders, technical teams, consultants, partners, and procurement stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to qualify opportunities, create urgency, and drive deal momentum
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving, and high-ownership environments
  • Strong discipline in pipeline management, opportunity tracking, and follow-through
  • Willingness to work from the Gurugram office, 5 days a week

GOOD TO HAVE:
  • Experience in any of the following domains: Public Safety, Smart Cities, Utilities, Transportation, Infrastructure, Industrial Automation, Video Analytics, VMS, CCTV, AI / Computer Vision, IoT, or enterprise software
  • Exposure to government sales, tenders, RFPs, empanelments, consulting-led sales, or partner-led sales motions
  • Existing relationships with consultants, system integrators, OEMs, infrastructure players, government bodies, or enterprise decision-makers
  • Ability to understand and explain AI / video analytics use cases at a business level
